Hockey Mom | Boston Newborn and Family Photographer

It’s been a couple of weeks since I last posted so I thought I would post a little bit about what I have been up to. Well, a trip to Disney World, school vacation, and hockey. If you had asked me a year and a half ago if I ever thought I was going to spend my evenings and weekends watching my kids play hockey and I would answer, “yeah, right” in my sarcastic tone. Well so much for that! I now spend my weeknights and weekends watching my kids play hockey, and it is great! It is a fun sport to watch (not crazy about the pros and the fighting, or the possibility of my kids getting hurt), but it is fast and a great work out, and my husband is coaching one of the teams, which really makes it a family affair! My boys love to play and can’t get enough of it themselves. Even when they don’t have practice they want to go ice skating. I don’t know what will happen next month when the season ends. So this past weekend, my older son and his team had the chance to play during intermission during a Providence Bruins game – what a thrill it was for him. He was nervous before going on the ice, but soon got in the groove of it and really enjoyed the experience. I was able to bring my camera and zoom lens with me and caught a few action shots!
