Beautiful Boy | Boston Newborn and Family Photographer

This little boy is so cute and sweet – he is just beautiful! I love his red hair, and his sweet face. His older brother is one of my sons’ friends so they were all playing in the park together and I was able to take a few photos while they were hanging out. Have I mentioned how easy it is to take photographs of other people’s kids, just not my own. Keep that in mind when you are hoping to get some photos of your kids – it is a lot easier to have someone else do it!

These photos were also taken with the hope of getting some Green in the images for my March Project 12. The challenge was Green for the month – that’s a lot of out of the box thinking, but I did find a green backboard to put him in front of, and he does have green eyes! Take a look at these other amazing photos from the March Project 12 challenge Green over at Newborn Goodness: Pictured Moments by April, Heather McGinnis PhotographyMelissa Treen Photography and Rezika Zurch Photography.

Now is the time to start thinking about, and booking, spring and summer sessions with me. The days are getting longer, the light is getting prettier, and the weather is warmer (some days)!

Love his eyes!

[...] Photo tip: Have a favorite article of clothing or accessory that your little one is about to outgrow? Be sure to capture some photos of them sporting said item before it’s too late and they can’t fit in it anymore! Cake Smash | Boston Newborn and Family Photographer

Finally, here are the photos from a cake smash I did a few weeks ago. There were so many great photos to choose from I was having a hard time deciding which ones to use, so instead last week I posted his brother playing with a hat! I also got some great ones of the pets in their house. So much going on in a house with four kids, a dog, a cat, and two parents! This little boy seems much older than one, maybe because he walks and runs around all over the place, and really seems to be involved with his siblings. I have been photographing this family for years – mostly because the mom is one of my dearest friends (our moms were great friends and we met when we were just little girls), but also because they are a fantastic family to photograph, and they keep growing! I am looking forward to this summer when we can get back outside and photograph the whole family again. Check out how much this one year old has grown, here are his newborn photos – Baby M.
