Happy 1st birthday little one! It’s time to party (or at least she partied the day before I saw her). We spent a little time hanging out in a basket, then put on some pretty tutus, and best of all got to eat some cake! Cake smash sessions are always a lot of fun, but can be a lot of work for the 1 year old. First they see this pretty cake in front of them not sure what to do with it, then everyone is telling them “Go ahead, grab it, eat it, get messy!” It can be a little overwhelming at first, since usually it’s not okay to squash a cake and smush it in your face. I have to say once that first bite of cake is taken, it is no holding back after that point – baby is all hands and face in the cake.
