A few weeks ago, I went to the home of a local family and photographed them on a beautiful morning in their yard and on their front porch. The day couldn’t have been better and the family couldn’t have been sillier. I know I have talked about how I love to watch siblings interact with each other and their parents, but it really never gets old (especially as a mom of two boys, just knowing that everyone else has kids that are just as wild, loud, silly, etc.. really helps keep your own family in perspective). This family has three kids – the oldest a girl, then two boys, and all of them just a few years apart or less. At times they would sit or stand together for me and all laugh together, but there were other times when the sister would be sitting on top of her brother, getting her ball back from him, she smiling brightly, while he is under her, on the ground in tears – all captured forever! The middle son was tired and really just wanted to do his own thing, but of course no one would let him pout by himself (as the last picture shows). The youngest was great for the photos at the beginning, but towards the end of the hour, he flat out told me, “I don’t want any more pictures taken!” Thank you “L” family for having me over to capture your family and give you some great father’s day photos!
